Why We Exist

Real estate development is delivered as a system, but most professionals are trained in isolated functions.
Architects, engineers, project managers, and commercial teams often operate within their own scope, without a clear understanding of how decisions impact the full project.

This leads to misalignment, inefficient processes, and costly mistakes during implementation.
We were created to address this gap — to provide a structured understanding of how development works as an integrated system.

What We Built

We built a structured educational system that reflects how development works in reality.

It operates on two levels:
Full-cycle programs
focused on the entire development process, from concept and financial model to implementation and sales. These are designed for professionals responsible for project-level decisions.
Competency-based courses
focused on specific functions such as project management, finance, BIM, or commercial strategy. They do not replace formal education, but help professionals structure their experience and deepen their understanding through real practice.
Together, these formats create a connected view of the industry — not a set of isolated skills.

How It Works

Programs are delivered in offline and hybrid formats.
Participants work with:
real project scenarios and site-based cases
financial models and implementation logic
planning and management tools used in active projects
Sessions are led by industry professionals — developers, architects, commercial and project leaders — who are directly involved in ongoing projects.
The learning process is built around analysis, decision-making, and applied work, not lectures alone.

All programs are led by professionals actively working in real estate development and construction, including developers, architects, project managers, and commercial leaders involved in residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. All lecturers hold or have held senior and executive roles in leading development and construction companies and are directly responsible for key decisions — from concept and design to execution, pricing, and sales.

The learning is based on real projects, allowing participants to work with actual constraints, data, and decision scenarios.

Kyiv School of Development has been operating since 2017.
The school runs:
2 long-form offline programs

a library of standalone recorded lectures
More than 4,100 professionals have completed online courses.
Over 450 participants graduated from the core development program, and more than 130 from other offline formats.

Programs are delivered across offline, online, workshop, and lecture-based formats, depending on the level of depth and role focus.
